Alabama’s ranking in AP Top 25 Men’s College Basketball Poll revealed

Alabama remains in the top five.

Monday’s new AP Top 25 Men’s College Basketball Poll saw the Alabama Crimson Tide in the same spot as last week.

Alabama (15-3 overall, 4-1 SEC) stayed at No. 4 in the new AP Poll following their 74-64 loss to Ole Miss and 102-97 bounce-back over Kentucky at Rupp Arena on Saturday.

The Auburn Tigers (17-1) remained No. 1 for the second week in a row after a blowout win over Mississippi State on Tuesday and 70-68 win over Georgia on Saturday. Cooper Flagg and the Duke Blue Devils (16-2) moved up one spot to No. 2, with Iowa State (15-2) falling to No. 3.

With Alabama at No. 4, the Florida Gators (16-2) rounded out the top five. Tennessee (No. 6, 16-2) and Kentucky (No. 9, 14-4) also ranked in the top 10. Texas A&M (No. 13, 14-4) and Mississippi State (No. 14, 15-3) cracked the top 15, with Ole Miss (15-3) moving up five spots to No. 16.

Coach Dennis Gates’ Missouri Tigers (15-3) entered the rankings at No. 22 to give the SEC nine teams in the AP Top 25.

Alabama is scheduled to face the Vanderbilt Commodores at 6 p.m. CT Tuesday at Coleman Coliseum. The game can be seen on SEC Network.
