Even though the college football season this year will look nothing like it has in years past, at least the Crimson Tide football players, who will be facing significantly more risk than usual in the midst of a global pandemic, can enjoy a super dope new locker room!
In a video released Monday afternoon, Alabama Football showed off their incredible new digs to their masked players. At the risk of exaggeration, it looks like they spent approximately a bazillion dollars on upgrading the locker room, diverting funds from who knows what other parts of academic learning.
Look at the lighting!
Look at the space!
Look at the freaking reclining chairs!
The upscale carpeting!
The giant selfies!

Why, it’s almost enough to make you realize that the school might be overcompensating for the fact that these players don’t get paid and that every day they’re out on the field they risk their health, their safety, and their bodies (arguably their most valuable resource) for a system that is designed to chew them up and spit them out.
But, wow, look at the fancy lap pools! Haha, that sure makes up for the exploitation of labor! Roll Tide!
