Alabama didn’t waste time taking it to Notre Dame in the Rose Bowl. The Crimson Tide jumped out to a 14-0 lead over the Fighting Irish, thanks to an insane hurdle by running back Najee Harris.
Right before Alabama scored their second touchdown of the first quarter, Harris hurdled over a Notre Dame defender, leaving him grabbing air while Harris ran 53 yards and put Alabama in scoring position.
Harris isn’t a small running back, either. Alabama lists him at 6’2″, 230 pounds and he was able to generate enough force to completely clear a Notre Dame defender.

Harris has become known for these types of in-game stunts, hurdling defenders to the point that Alabama head coach Nick Saban publicly said he wasn’t a big fan of the incredible jumps.
Better Najee Harris hurdle?

Sometimes if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Hopefully Najee can keep these hurdles coming when he’s punishing NFL defenses next football season.
