Dallas Turner was a starter for the Alabama Crimson Tide last year and he remembers rolling into Baton Rouge and losing to the Tigers.
He appeared on the Paul Finebaum show and talked about what the game plan is for the Tide defense this year as it tries to stop the No. 1 offense in the FBS.
Alabama’s defense has been night and day better this year than they were last year. The Tide defense ranks third in the conference in yards per game, giving up 309 yards per game. They are only behind Georgia and Texas A&M. Turner leads the conference in sacks with eight.
“It’s always been about us as a team and what we do,” Turner said, per On3. “We’ve just gotta be more disciplined, especially from last game and stuff like that. We’re never worried about the other team. It’s always about what we do during practice. Our practice habits and what we do on the field. Just keep playing for all 60 minutes.”
The winner of this game has a great likelihood to win the SEC West and a shot at playing Georgia for the SEC Championship in Atlanta.
