After the same was reported about redshirt freshman Jahlil Hurley on Tuesday morning, Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Kobe Prentice will now also be entering the transfer portal when it opens.
Prentice is the fourth Alabama player to do so up to this point in the season, joining Jehiem Oatis, Keanu Koht, and the aforementioned Hurley.
A junior, Prentice has been a prominent member of Alabama’s wide receiver room across the last three seasons, hauling in a combined 60 receptions for 780 yards and five touchdowns. Included in this span was a career-year in 2021 as a freshman, hauling in 31 receptions for 337 yards and two scores.
This season, Prentice has seen action in 10 games for the Crimson Tide, with the time that he missed due to an injury. Over that span, Prentice has a total of 11 receptions for 129 yards and one touchdown, with his best game this season having come back in Week 1 against Western Kentucky in which he had three receptions for 43 yards.
Alabama wide receiver Kobe Prentice is expected to enter the transfer portal, a source tells @CBSSports/@247Sports.
