Alabama transfer wide receiver commits to Big 12 program

An Alabama transfer wide receiver has announced his 2025 playing destination.

After announcing his intentions to enter the transfer portal earlier this month, Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Kobe Prentice has officially committed to the Baylor Bears as of Tuesday afternoon.

Prentice is the first Alabama wide receiver currently in the transfer portal to make a decision as to where he will play in 2025, with the other three at the moment undecided.

A veteran receiver, Prentice has been a key member of Alabama’s wideout room dating back to his freshman season in 2022. Since that year, Prentice had a combined 60 receptions for 780 yards and five touchdowns across the past three seasons.

This season, Prentice finished the year with a stat line of 11 receptions for 129 yards and a touchdown across 10 games played.

Prior to his time in Tuscaloosa, Prentice was a four-star, Top 100 prospect in the Crimson Tide’s 2022 recruiting class out of in-state Calera High School in Alabama.
