Alabama tight end Elijah Brown has entered his name into the transfer portal, according to 247Sports’ Chris Hummer.
Brown joined Alabama as a part of the 2022 recruiting class. He was recruited as a four-star tight end of Dayton, Ohio.
Brown spent one season in Tuscaloosa and was given a redshirt. Meaning, he will have four years of eligibility remaining.
His loss does not sting too much given Alabama’s depth at the tight end position. The Tide still have six tight ends that are on scholarship for next season. That consists of CJ Dippre, Amari Niblack, Danny Lewis, Miles Kitselman, Robbie Ouzts, and Ty Lockwood.
Alabama second-year TE Elijah Brown has entered the transfer portal, @247SportsPortal has learned. He was a four-star prospect in the 2022 class.https://t.co/50mZJRMilM
