Alabama scores 27 points in the second-half to defeat Tennessee.

No. 8 Alabama (7-1, 5-0 SEC) defeated No. 15 Tennessee (5-2, 2-2 SEC), 34-20, Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The Vols led, 20-7, at halftime before Alabama scored 27 unanswered points in the second-half.

Tennessee scored first when Joe Milton III completed a 39-yard touchdown pass to Squirrel White. Charles Campbell converted an extra point to make the score, 7-0, with 12 minutes, 39 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

Campbell kicked a pair of field goals to extend Tennessee’s advantage to 13-0 by the end of the first quarter.

Alabama pulled to within, 13-7, during the second quarter after Jalen Milroe completed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Jermaine Burton.

After Jaylen McCollough recorded an interception for Tennessee, the Vols scored before halftime. Milton III completed a six-yard touchdown pass to McCallan Castles.

Alabama shut out Tennessee, 27-0, in the second half.

Milton III completed 28-of-41 passing attempts for 271 yards and two touchdowns. He also led Tennessee in rushing yards (59).
