As a result of his stellar performance Saturday in a win over the Wisconsin Badgers, Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe has been named the Week 3 SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
Milroe was the lone Alabama player to receive a weekly honor by the SEC coming out of Week 3, with the Crimson Tide starting quarterback sharing it with Ole Miss signal caller Jaxson Dart.
In Week 3, Milroe was easily one of the top performers across all of college football as he led Alabama to an impressive 42-10 road victory in Madison.
Against the Badgers, Milroe accounted for five of Alabama’s six touchdowns Saturday, as he completed 12-of-17 passes for 196 yards and three scores. In addition to that, Milroe also rushed for a team-high 75 yards and two more touchdowns on 14 attempts.

For the season, Milroe now owns a 67.3 CMP% with 590 passing yards and an 8:0 TD:INT ratio across three games, while also having rushed for 156 yards and six touchdowns on 36 attempts. Is Milroe potentially emerging as an early-season frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy?
