Alabama football looks to return to the College Football Playoff in 2023 after failing to make it last season because of two regular-season losses at the hands of a couple of SEC foes. One analyst believes the Crimson Tide will do more than just make the playoffs, they could make a run for it all.
ESPN recently revealed bowl game projections for the 2023 season. Analysts Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach made their picks.
Schlabach doesn’t include Alabama in his CFP prediction and instead has the Tide in the Peach Bowl against Clemson.
However, Bonagura has Alabama taking on Michigan in the Rose Bowl and then moving on to face the Georgia Bulldogs.
It will not be an easy journey for Alabama, but it’s certainly possible. There are still many uncertainties regarding this team, like who the starting quarterback will be, but that doesn’t seem to concern many analysts.
