Alabama lands in top 4 for Canada native, 2025 3-star DL Floyd Boucard

Alabama is still in the mix for 2025 three-star defensive lineman Floyd Boucard

On Thursday, 2025 three-star defensive lineman Floyd Boucard narrowed his list of finalists down to four schools: the Alabama Crimson Tide, Miami (FL), Oklahoma Sooners, and USC Trojans.

Boucard has taken official visits to all four schools and has set a commitment date for July 20. As things stand, there is not a clear leader in Boucard’s recruitment. Each school feels like they have a legitimate shot to land the 6-foot-3, 315 pound defensive lineman.

Alabama has two defensive linemen committed in the 2025 recruiting class. Those are four-star Antonio Coleman and three-star London Simmons. Boucard would likely be the final defensive linemen in Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class if he were to commit.

Boucard is originally from Canada but came to the United States to play football as a junior. He spent his junior season at Mobile Christian High School in Mobile, Alabama. Boucard tallied 85 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks. He was an intricate reason for why the Leopards were able to win the Class 3A state championship game.

Soon after his junior season concluded, Boucard transferred to Miami Central High School in Miami, Florida. he will suit up in the Sunshine state for his senior year of high school.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow the latest regarding the Alabama football program and its efforts on the recruiting trail.
