Alabama lands in top 3 in ESPN’s Way Too Early Top 25 for 2020

It’s important to note that the rankings are based on the following: Players returning, players lost, new recruiting class, and schedule.

Football is a 24/7, 365 days a year conversation, am I right?

Well, ESPN seems to agree. ESPN released their Way Too Early Top 25, just a few days after the National Title game, and some people may be surprised where teams end up. Especially since LSU, who just won the national championship, isn’t in the number one spot. They’re actually one spot UNDER Alabama. But, is it really that surprising? LSU is losing Joe Burrow and 5 other starters, as well as offensive guru Joe Brady.

But before we discuss this any further, it’s important to know that last year when ESPN released the Way Too Early Top 25, the list correctly predicted two of the top four, six of the top 10 and 14 of the top 25 teams in the final College Football Playoff selection committee rankings.

It’s also important to note that the rankings are based on the following: Players returning, players lost, new recruiting class, as well as schedule.
