Alabama just finished with the No. 1 recruiting for the 2021 cycle, but its sights have already been set on 2022. Will this be another top grouping for Nick Saban and company?
Well, the Crimson Tide just landed an important piece toward making that happen. On Friday, four-star tight end Elijah Brown took to social media to announce his decision. The choice? Alabama, of course.

Alabama has added a tight end in each of the last two recruiting classes. Caden Clark was technically in the 2020 group, but he delayed enrolling for a year and will be there this spring.
Robbie Ouzts was a part of the 2021 class, but more star power is needed at the position.
Enter Brown, who is a four-star prospect, according to the 247Sports composite. He is listed as the No. 277 overall player, the No. 13 tight end and No. 11 player from the state of Ohio.
The Dayton, Ohio, native chose Alabama over Auburn, LSU, USC and several other prominent programs.
Brown is the third Tide commit for the 2022 class, joining four-star linebacker Robert Woodyard and strong side defensive end Walter Bob. The class is rated No. 23 in the nation (No. 6 in the SEC).
