The Alabama Crimson Tide were on the move in the latest update of the AP Poll Top 25 on Sunday afternoon once again, jumping two spots from No. 9 up to No. 7.
This also coincides with a rise for Alabama in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll on Sunday afternoon where the Crimson Tide also jumped two spots from No. 9 to No. 7.
Having already owned a 4-2 record in SEC play, Alabama advanced to 8-2 overall Saturday with a dominant 52-7 win at home over the Mercer Bears. This extended Alabama’s current winning streak to three consecutive games, with the Crimson Tide outscoring their opponents a combined 128-20.
The Crimson Tide are also the second-highest ranked SEC team in the latest AP Poll, trailing only the No. 3 ranked Texas Longhorns. Texas sits behind only the Oregon Ducks and Ohio State Buckeyes, which are at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
Now sitting at No. 7 in both the AP and Coaches Polls, what will Alabama’s ranking be Tuesday night in the latest CFP rankings?
