Over the weekend, the Alabama Crimson Tide football program was not the only team in Tuscaloosa to make news with their 34-0 victory over Missouri, but basketball also had a notable thing happen.
That is because the Crimson Tide were included in the final four finalists for one of the nation’s premier uncommitted prospects in Davion Hannah, who announced his list Friday afternoon. Alongside the Crimson Tide, Alabama was also joined by the Cincinnati Bearcats, Missouri Tigers, and Ohio State Buckeyes.
Hannah currently ranks as the nation’s No. 31 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, and is a highly-rated four-star who could end up being a five-star by the time he steps on campus. The four-star also ranks as the No. 7 shooting guard nationally, as well as the No. 2 player in the state of Missouri where he attends national power Link Academy.
Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class currently ranks No. 16 nationally for the cycle, holding two commitments from a pair of four-star small forwards, London Jemison and Amari Allen.
