Alabama’s wide receiver room could be adding some reinforcements in the near future. On Wednesday, head coach Nick Saban informed the media that freshman wide receiver Aaron Anderson was “finally healthy.”
Anderson has been nursing a foot injury for the majority of the season and hasn’t seen any game action. However, he had a good spring before suffering the injury.
The Louisiana native was ranked as the No. 35 recruit in the 2022 recruiting class, according to 247Sports’ recruiting rankings. Anderson played football and ran track at Edna Karr High School. The Tide could find different packages to incorporate Anderson’s speed and versatility into the offense. That is one thing that the team has lacked offensively this season.
Saban said he is very encouraged by the freshman wide receivers.
He mentioned Aaron Anderson is "finally healthy" and he "can see what his potential might be."
