Alabama football throws shade at LSU during open date

Alabama football had something to say during the open date after the postponement of the LSU game.

This year’s go-round between Alabama football and LSU was not set to go the way it did last year, and now it’s not occurring at all this weekend because of COVID-19 concerns.

But that doesn’t mean the talk surrounding one of the most heated rivalries in all of college football has died down.

The Crimson Tide had something to say, throwing a little bit of shade at LSU on the team Twitter account recently.

And this tweet seems to be more directed toward the Tigers than anything surrounding Call of Duty, folks.

“We know BAMA FANS are itching for competition this weekend… since our opponent couldn’t come through, glad @callofduty did #BlackOpsColdWar is OUT and we’ve got FREE copies!!!,” it read.

Yikes.

It will be interesting to see how things play out when and if the two teams do eventually meet this year, but with the current state of the program, it’s safe to assume that LSU does not want Bama.
