Alabama football schedule: Are the Crimson Tide playing today?

Is Alabama playing today? Here’s a look at the schedule and the games to come.

Having last taken the field back in late-November for the Iron Bowl, the time has now come for the Alabama Crimson Tide to officially return to action, as the team will play in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 31 against what is a fairly familiar opponent in the Michigan Wolverines.

Two teams that met a year ago, Michigan previously defeated Alabama this time last season in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Rose Bowl, 27-20 in overtime, on their way to winning the national championship.

This season, Alabama and Michigan however are in two different positions, as the Crimson Tide were in contention to make the CFP with three losses, while Michigan sits at 7-5 while being unranked entirely.

Taking place Tuesday, Dec. 31, Alabama vs. Michigan will begin at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN, with the game taking place from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
