Alabama football defensive back Malachi Moore compiled quite an impressive list of accomplishments in five seasons at the Capstone.
Moore ended his Crimson Tide career with a national championship, three SEC titles, a perfect 5-0 record against Auburn, and some big plays that fans won’t soon forget.
Moore, who just completed his senior season, took to Instagram late Monday to share a message of goodbye.
Part of Moore’s message read:
“My time in Tuscaloosa has been a dream come true. I’ve won a National Championship, 3 SEC Championships and gone 5-0 against Auburn. I’ve gotten to play at Bryant-Denny Stadium in front of the best fans in college football. I’ve had the chance to spend time this last year with my brother as a teammate. All these memories are ones that I will cherish forever. B Psi Phi til I die!
“If They Ain’t Wearing Crimson…
Thank you, Alabama”
In his senior season, Moore had two interceptions, eight pass deflections, one sack and two forced fumbles. For his five-year career at Alabama, he made 212 tackles (126 solo), 2.5 sacks, seven interceptions, three forced fumbles and 24 passes deflected.
Moore was a four-star recruit out of Hewitt-Trussville High School in the class of 2020. 247Sports ranked him the No. 8 safety in America.
