After the team’s impressive win over the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Alabama Crimson Tide are back on the move in the latest college basketball AP Poll Top 25.
However, it might not have been in the direction that you might’ve thought, as Alabama actually dropped one spot down from No. 8 to No. 9. This type of movement was similar to the latest USA TODAY Sports men’s basketball Coaches Poll where Alabama dropped two spots from No. 7 to No. 9.
Now sitting at 4-1 overall, Alabama now enters what is simply a challenging stretch in the immediate future that includes three ranked teams over their next four games. The first of those will come Tuesday night out in Las Vegas against the No. 6 ranked Houston Cougars in the Players Era Festival Tournament.
After that, Alabama will then face a Rutgers team that just fell out of the Top 25 in the latest update, followed by at No. 12 North Carolina and No. 21 Creighton.
