Rising sophomore defensive back, Scooby Carter, recently announced he has re-entered the NCAA transfer portal after removing his name from the system when he originally submitted his name into the portal in November of 2019.

Not much information has become available to the public as to why he is seeking to transfer from the university of Alabama.

On Mar. 1 Carter took to Twitter to clear the air and squat any rumors regarding his relationship with the program or his teammates. He also let it be known that it was not due to his ranking on the Crimson Tide depth chart.

Carter cites “personal reasons” as the explanation for his entrance to the transfer portal.

The message posted by the form four-star defensive back helps us eliminate what the reason could be, but is too vague to give anyone any ideas.

The Texas native has not yet announced where he will be transferring to, but Roll Tide Wire will keep you updated on Carter’s journey through the transfer portal and into another program.
