Alabama has now played two games during the 2020 season, winning both. For that reason, the Crimson Tide remained at No. 2 overall in the latest Amway Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY Sports.
Texas A&M was the latest victim, as the Aggies were handled by Alabama with a final score 24-52. It wasn’t enough to put the Crimson Tide ahead of Clemson in the poll, but the gap continues to close with each passing week.

Mississippi State was one of the four schools who dropped out of the top 25, joining Oklahoma, Memphis and Pitt. That development leaves seven teams from the SEC currently in the top 25.
