The Alabama Crimson Tide baseball program announced an upcoming fall scrimmage with the Clemson Tigers on Thursday afternoon, which will take place Saturday, November 9.
On what is the same day the football program is in Baton Rouge to take on the LSU Tigers, the game against Clemson will begin at 12:00 p.m. CT, and will take place at Sewell-Thomas Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
A high-profile preseason showdown between two NCAA Tournament teams, Clemson was one of the ACC’s top programs a year ago, finishing the year at 44-16 overall, as well as 20-10 in conference play.
During that season, the Tigers reached the NCAA Tournament as the nation’s No. 6 overall seed where they advanced to the Super Regional round.

Alabama is coming off the first season of the Rob Vaughn era in Tuscaloosa, one in which the program finished with a 33-24 overall record. Also holding a 13-17 mark in SEC play, the Crimson Tide made the NCAA Tournament as well, falling in the Regional round.
