Alabama adds future home-and-home series with Boston College

Alabama football continues to add out of conference opponents to their future schedules. This time, it’s Boston College in 2031 and 2034.

Alabama football has scheduled yet another series with an out-of-conference opponent. This time, it will be Boston College out of the ACC.

The announcement comes just a day after publicly announcing their future series with the Oklahoma State, set to take place in the 2028 and 2029 seasons.

The Crimson Tide will take on the Eagles over a decade from now, with the first contest being played at Boston College on Sept. 13, 2031 and the second contest taking place three seasons later in Tuscaloosa on Sept. 16, 2034.

“The numerous home-and-home matchups that have been scheduled in recent years are going to make for some great football games for our program and our fan base,” Alabama head football coach Nick Saban said, per the official press release. “We are excited to add a trip to Chestnut Hill for the 2031 season and look forward to the challenge that awaits us with the Boston College series.”

Overall, Boston College holds the series lead over Alabama, winning three of the four contests between the two teams. their most recent meeting was in 1984, where the Eagles won 38-31.
