Alabama adds commitment from highly-touted 2025 edge rusher

The edge rusher is Alabama’s second commitment so far this July.

After landing a commitment to their 2025 class Monday from four-star Kaleb Edwards, the Alabama Crimson Tide added yet another member to that group Tuesday, as highly-touted edge rusher Justin Hill committed to the program.

A big recruiting win for Kalen DeBoer and Co., Hill is considered one of the top players in Ohio for the 2025 cycle, ranking No. 4 in the state according to the 247Sports Composite rankings out of Winton Woods High School. Hill, a four-star edge rusher, is also ranked as the No. 58 overall player in the class nationally, as well as the No. 4 prospect at his position.

The four-star is now commitment No. 22 of the cycle for Alabama, with the Crimson Tide still owning the nation’s No. 2 overall class, as well as tops in the SEC.

Hill is also now the fifth highest-rated commitment of the 2025 cycle for the Crimson Tide, and joins the likes of Dawson Merritt as edge rushers.
