Myron Charles is one of the nation’s top-ranked defensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting cycle. He narrowed his list of finalists down to 12 schools last Thursday. One of the schools that made the cut was Alabama.
Charles plays for Port Charlotte High School in Port Charlotte, Florida. As a sophomore, he recorded 24 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
Charles is a physical presence along the interior of the defensive line. He is stout against the run and can rush the passer at times as well.
Alabama is recruiting Charles to play defensive tackle. A position that he is familiar with as he plays the same position at his high school.
While Charles has not taken an unofficial visit to Alabama, he still has the Crimson Tide as one of his finalist. It will be interesting to see how his recruitment plays out.
