After a loaded non-conference schedule in which the program went 11-2, the Alabama Crimson Tide are set to officially begin SEC play in the coming days with a home showdown against one of the conference’s newest teams this season, the Oklahoma Sooners.
Facing off Saturday, Oklahoma is a team that Alabama has not necessarily had as much success against historically, sitting at only 3-7 overall all-time, while also currently riding a two-game losing streak head-to-head.
Entering this season’s matchup however, Alabama is likely the favorite here, but will still be facing a talented and dangerous Oklahoma team that could easily come into Coleman Coliseum to leave with a win.
