Al Horford has ‘best game of season’ on both ends to lead shorthanded Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers

The win showed the Celtics’ ability to play as a cohesive unit and trust in each other’s abilities.

The Boston Celtics secured a 117-107 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in a physical matchup with a playoff atmosphere. The Celtics exhibited strong ball movement, took care of the basketball, and avoided being outworked by the Sixers. Al Horford had a standout performance, adding 5 blocks and contributing on both ends of the court.

Despite missing two starters, the Celtics were able to compensate by having multiple players step up, including Jayson Tatum, who had a strong showing with 29 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Horford’s defensive efforts against Joel Embiid were particularly impressive. The Celtics’ success was also attributed to their stingy defense, which translated into offensive opportunities.

The win showed the Celtics’ ability to play as a cohesive unit and trust in each other’s abilities.
