A.J. Dillon’s trucking of Los Angeles Rams safety Taylor Rapp in the fourth quarter on Sunday didn’t go unnoticed.
Dillon has earned the “scepter” award for the top “Angry Run” of the week from NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football.”
Dillon, the Packers’ 247-pound running back, made a jump cut to find a hole and then ran over Rapp at the second level to finish off a run nearing the end of the Packers’ 36-28 win over the Rams.
Dillon produced 90 total yards in the game. He also forced six missed tackles, according to Pro Football Focus, including one very loud miss by Rapp, the 208-pound safety who was no match for Dillon one-on-one.
Dillon lowered his pads and forcefully deposited Rapp on the ground, providing one of the best truck sticks of the entire 2021 season.
