A.J. Brown spent the last few weeks recruiting Julio Jones to the Tennessee Titans, and ultimately got what he wanted. They’re teammates. There’s only one complication: they both wear the number 11.
But even that issue came to a swift resolution. Brown explained on Twitter on Tuesday that he offered the number to Jones, who wouldn’t take it. Jones will take a new number in Tennessee. He wore eight at Alabama and 82 in high school.
It’s awesome to see both players have so much mutual respect for one another. It will be even more awesome to see both players on the field together, where they’re likely to embarrassing opposing defenses (regardless of what number is on their jersey).
#11 until I retire . I tried to give it up and he wouldn’t take it . Respect 🤝

It seems they’ll be strong teammates.
