There was a lot of hullabaloo last week surrounding Texas A&M football, and how they achieved their recruiting success in 2022. But early indications are that there won’t be any ill effects on the Aggies recruiting outcomes for 2023 and beyond.
Over the weekend, two elite east coast prospects, New Jersey four-star offensive tackle Chase Bisontis, and Florida four-star linebacker Grayson “Pup” Howard each announced that they had narrowed their recruitment down to five schools, and A&M made the list for both.
Bisontis, the 6-5 tackle from Don Bosco Prep, is the top recruit in the state of New Jersey, and he listed the Aggies alongside Rutgers, Georgia, LSU, and Michigan State in his top 5.
Thank you to all the coaches that recruited me but this is my top 5‼️ pic.twitter.com/50gEBfHpYS

While Howard, a top-50 national linebacker included the Aggies among the likes of Georgia, South Carolina, Clemson, and Florida.

The moral of the story for the Aggies, is that they continue to establish themselves as a national brand on the recruiting trail, and no matter what anyone has to say about it, that’s not changing anytime soon.
