Week 5 of the 2023 NFL Season was much more exciting than many of us anticipated as the Chicago Bears traveled to Wash. D.C. to face the Washington Commanders. The Bears were searching for their first win after losing 14, yes, 14 straight games going back to last season.
In one of the best quarterback-wide receiver performances of the season, Justin Fields threw for 282 yards and four touchdowns. In comparison, WR D.J More accounted for 230 yards and three of said touchdowns, joining a prestigious list of receiving performances by a player in their first season with a new team. On the other side, Commander QB Sam Howell is as tough as they come, throwing for 388 yards and two touchdowns, but after trailing 27-3 at the half, enduring five sacks in the process.
