Week Four of the 2023 NFL season started off in Green Bay, Wisconsin, as the Packers took on the NFC North preseason favorite Detroit Lions just four days removed from their rousing comeback win vs. Atlanta.
Well, Packer fans were in for a long night as soon as the first Lions possession, as the fighting Dan Campbell’s went up 14-3 in the first quarter, which rapidly increased to 27-3 at the half. While quarterback Jordan Love put on his best comeback impression, running back David Montgomery’s fourth-quarter kill shot touchdown ultimately sealed the deal for the visitors with a 34-20 victory, reaching an impressive 3-1 on the season.
