Earlier this weekend, former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski showed off his current athleticism while playing on an outdoor basketball hoop and throwing down some sweet dunks against his “imaginary friend LeBron.” And while Gronkowski isn’t going to try out for an NBA team, he is going to return to the NFL and join his former Pats teammate Tom Brady in a move that many are likening to an NBA-type players-first partnership in Tampa Bay. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday afternoon that the Patriots have agreed to trade Gronkowski to the Buccaneers.
This is what Gronkowski and “LeBron” were up to this weekend.

Brady joined the Buccaneers in free agency shortly after the free-agent period in the NFL opened, leaving the New England Patriots after playing there for 20 seasons.
Gronkowski is apparently feeling much healthier now than he was before. He addressed some of those health problems and his recovery on an appearance on HBO/UNINTERRUPTED’s The Shop.
