After Blazers’ 42nd win, Damian Lillard remembered a bettor who claimed he really, really needed it

Did he really save this guy’s house?

We are reminded time and time again that Damian Lillard doesn’t forget anything, and he’s on Twitter a lot.

Keep that in mind as we go back a month to April 19. A bettor on Twitter known as @LordTreeSap reached out to Lillard and said the following: “Dame how is your hamstring? I need you guys to win 42 games this year or I lose my house. Huge fan even if I’m in the mansion or homeless.”

Lillard actually responded at the time, telling the bettor to “Say less” (see below).

A month later, the Blazers won their 42nd game … and Lillard remembered:

Thank goodness he saved the man’s house, right? What a guy!

Except the bet was for like $260. Was that really the money that would save his house?

LOL. Everyone still got in on the fun:

Alright, so it wasn’t like he bet the farm (literally?) on the Blazers. But this was still fun.
