The Denver Broncos didn’t lose in Week 11!
That’s the good news.
After a bye last week, though, the Broncos have fallen farther behind the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers, who both won on Sunday.
Here’s a look at the current AFC West standings going into Week 12.
Team | Record | Div. | Conf. |
Kansas City Chiefs | 7-4 | 1-1 | 2-4 |
Los Angeles Chargers | 6-4 | 2-0 | 4-2 |
Las Vegas Raiders | 5-5 | 1-2 | 4-3 |
Denver Broncos | 5-5 | 0-1 | 2-4 |
Denver can begin climbing back up the standings in the division by upsetting Los Angeles at home in Week 12. After that, the Broncos will go on the road to face the Chiefs in Week 13. If the team goes 0-2 in those contests, their chances of competing for the division title will be essentially nil.
To wrap up the season, Denver will face the Raiders on the road (Week 16), travel to Los Angeles (Week 17) and then host Kansas City (Week 18). If the division hasn’t been decided by then, those games could have huge implications for the Broncos.
Things don’t look good for Denver, but the division race isn’t over yet.
