It continues to be an interesting offseason for the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers. They’re in the news once again for the wrong reason.
Recently acquired quarterback Dwayne Haskins was involved in an altercation with his wife, Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins, who faces a felony charge for the incident in Las Vegas. Things took a bad turn while the couple was with friends in Las Vegas to celebrate their recent engagement and subsequent marriage.
From KTNV-13 in Las Vegas,
The report describes Dwayne Haskins’ injuries as “substantial in nature,” saying he had a split upper lip that would require stitches and a missing upper tooth. It also says his mouth appeared bruised and “would most certainly require dental work to repair his teeth.”
Haskins was not charged in the incident. The Steelers have yet to comment on their presumptive backup QB, who signed earlier this offseason after being quickly dumped by the Washington Football Team after two unsavory seasons. He was Washington’s first-round pick in 2019.
