Has Full Gear become a part of your annual fall traditions? AEW is surely hoping it has.
One of the promotion’s first four annual pay-per-view events, Full Gear has been held every year since 2019. Usually held on Veteran’s Day or the following Saturday, the show has changed venues each year and traveled from the east coast to the midwest to the L.A. area for its 2023 edition.
Except for the inaugural show, Full Gear has been headlined every year by an AEW World Championship match. Interestingly, every main event has featured one or both of Jon Moxley or Kenny Omega, a streak that looks set to end in 2023.
