ORLANDO — After spending much of his rookie season on a two-way contract for the Washington Wizards organization, Admiral Schofield is finding his place in the NBA.
Since the league restarted its season this summer, Schofield is getting a chance to earn some valuable game experience in the Central Florida bubble.
The Wizards, however, have struggled and are not likely to make the playoffs.
But that does not mean Schofield, a former All-Southeastern Conference standout for the University of Tennessee, is not making the most of his opportunities.
He scored three points and grabbed four rebounds in Washington’s 121-103 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder Sunday at ESPN Wide World of Sports Arena.
Schofield began his rookie season for the Capital City Go-Go, the team’s NBA G-League affiliate.
