Vikings co-defensive coordinator Adam Zimmer has had stops with the Saints, the Chiefs and the Bengals.
He said all of those fan bases have passionate supporters (even the Bengals), but the Vikings fan base stuck out in a unique aspect:
“I think Vikings fans are more talkative on forums than the teams I’ve been around. They’re very passionate,” Adam Zimmer told Bob Sansevere of the Pioneer Press. “It’s one of the loudest stadiums in the league, if not the loudest. They’ll love you, win or lose, most of them. I think they support us great.”
Zimmer also talked with Sansevere about being a co-defensive coordinator alongside Andre Patterson:
“We’ll get together and meet and put together a schedule. He does a little more in the front and the run game. I do a little more with the back end, the DBs, linebackers and coverage. It’s not difficult at all. I’ve known ‘Dre since I was in grade school, so it’s a good relationship.”
