The impact of the coronavirus on the NBA season and the rest of the sports world and the world at large is only just beginning in North America. Less than 24 hours after the NBA announced that they would suspend the season in hopes of stopping the spread of the coronavirus, NBA commissioner Adam Silver joined TNT’s Inside The NBA crew to discuss the state of the league and the state of the virus.
During his appearance on TNT, Silver said that he expects the suspension on the season to last at least 30 days. He also said that it’s a definite possibility that the season gets canceled outright if the severity of the situation calls for it. TNT crew member Charles Barkley was on the call but was not on set as he was told to self-quarantine.
Chuck called in, says that he is currently in self-quarantine after taking a test for the coronavirus.
