We’ve been waiting for it, but it hasn’t happened yet.
Now, over a week into the month of May, free agent pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney has still yet to find an NFL landing spot.
The Tennessee Titans are a team that’s shown a high level of interest in Clowney, and are still among the favorites to ultimately sign him.
And in the eyes of CBS Sports’ Adam Schein, Nashville could be the perfect place for the defensive end to regain his identity.
“I still think the perfect spot for Jadeveon Clowney (is) unequivocally the Tennessee Titans,” he said. “Mike Vrabel coached him up in Houston, and I think that’s a move that would benefit the player, benefit the team… this would be amazing for Clowney, amazing for Tennessee.”
"If I'm Clowney right now, sign a one-year contract at $15 million for this year with your good friend, Mike Vrabel. Go in, get your name and your game back in Tennessee." @AdamSchein thinks the Titans are the perfect landing spot for Jadeveon Clowney pic.twitter.com/2S5S9Carzs

Schein has a point.
Landing Clowney would be a big get for any team, and the Titans could bolster their defense in a major way by bringing him on ahead of the 2020 season.
Tennessee has proven to be a force to be reckoned with after making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game last year, and has just some small tweaks to make before they can be considered regular postseason contenders.
If the Titans can restore Clowney to his former greatness, both and he and the team stand to level up significantly.
