Aaron Rodgers sure sounds like he isn’t throwing in the towel just yet. Rodgers made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show Friday and naturally was asked about the possibility of him returning in 2024 following his Achilles injury suffered Monday night. He sounds like he’s ready to run it back one more time.
“I want all your doubts,” Rodgers told the Pat McAfee Show on Friday, via NJ.com’s Andy Vasquez. “I want all your prognostications, I want all your timetables. … And then watch what I do.”
Rodgers underwent successful surgery Wednesday in Los Angeles. It’s a long road to recovery and he’ll be 40 years old by the time he is back on the field. But with the type of competitor Rodgers is, it always seemed like he was not going to let his career end this way. He wants to end it the right way, on his terms.
