"I don't feel like I said anything that I hadn't said before.. It was just more of a realization I think that ultimately my future is not necessarily in my control…

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made his weekly appearance on Pat McAfee’s Show on Tuesday (Some NSFW language in the video).
The veteran QB, who likely will be the NFL MVP, was open and honest about his future, saying, “I don’t think there’s any reason I wouldn’t be back.”
These comments were after Rodgers suggested after Sunday’s loss to Tampa Bay in the NFC Championship his future with the Packers was uncertain.
He went in-depth on the topic and addressed how the future is not always in the player’s control.
“I am not like jetting out of town and ‘sayonara Green Bay.’ There’s conversations to be had.”
However, coach Matt LaFleur and team exec Mark Murphy have been emphatic in what they want.
Matt LaFleur on if he thinks Aaron Rodgers will be back: "I sure as hell hope so … Hell yeah, he better be back here."

LaFleur said after Sunday’s game that Rodgers “better be back” and remains “the leader” of the team, and team president Mark Murphy said Monday there’s no question Green Bay will retain its star QB. “We’re not idiots,” he said. “Aaron Rodgers will be back.”
