Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones found a running lane behind the block of receiver Allen Lazard and scored the go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter of Monday night’s showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.
Aaron Rodgers found Geronimo Allison for the two-point conversion, giving the Packers a 17-0 lead to end the third quarter.
The drive started with a Kevin King interception, his fifth season. Rodgers and Jones led the Packers 53 yards in eight plays, capped off by Jones’ 12-yard touchdown run.
The Packers survived three first-half turnovers and must now protect a seven-point lead over the final 15 minutes.
