The Los Angeles Rams just can’t seem to overcome the injury bug this season and they had another notable starter sustain an injury in Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. On Monday, Sean McVay revealed that Aaron Donald suffered a sprained ankle versus the Chiefs.
Injury updates from Rams HC Sean McVay:
DL Aaron Donald has an ankle sprain, will get more clarity on Wednesday. Donald still meeting with doctors.
WR Lance McCutcheon has an AC sprain, day-to-day.
OLB Terrell Lewis had a disc bulge in his back that limited him vs. Chiefs.

It is uncertain when or how Donald injured his ankle, but the All-Pro defensive tackle will meet with doctors to get more information on his ailment. An update is expected to happen by Wednesday, so we should know more about his status moving forward in the next couple of days.
The Rams are already without Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, and a handful of offensive linemen currently. While the defense has been healthier than the offense thus far, Donald’s injury would loom large for a defense that has struggled to generate consistent pressure outside of Donald.
Even with a lack of help from the other pass rushers, Donald has still logged 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, and a forced fumble through 11 games. In a season where the Rams just can’t seem to stay healthy, their luck gets even worse with Donald potentially missing time.
