In the lead up to free agency, Aaron Donald emphasized the importance of Michael Brockers on the Rams defense and urged the team to re-sign him. Then on the first day of the legal tampering period, Brockers agreed to a three-year deal with the Ravens.
Donald was undoubtedly upset about Brockers’ departure, but he received some good news Friday. The Rams are re-signing Brockers to a three-year deal after his deal with the Ravens fell through over concerns about his ankle.
This was Donald’s reaction on Twitter, giving the move a standing ovation courtesy of the great Bill Murray.

Donald has played alongside Brockers since entering the NFL in 2014 and calls him one of the best run defenders in football. The two have built a strong relationship on the field and in the locker room, becoming two leaders on defense for Los Angeles.
This reaction by Donald is far different than the one he had when Brockers originally agreed to a deal with the Ravens.

No. 99 and 90 back together again, just as Donald wanted.
