It took Aaron Donald about five minutes to record his first sack in SoFi Stadium, bringing down Dak Prescott for a 7-yard loss in the first quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Cowboys.
He’s a good bet to lead the league in sacks, and considering the start he got off to, it’s easy to see why.
With the sack on Prescott, Donald moved into second place on the Rams’ all-time list of sack leaders. He passed Kevin Green and now has 73 career sacks, all in a Rams uniform. Only Leonard Little has more sacks than Donald for the Rams at 87.5.
