Throughout his remarkable career, Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald has missed just two games — both in 2017, and one due to a contract dispute. Other than that, he’s played just about every snap possible since his rookie year of 2014, which says a lot about his toughness.
So, when Donald was seen on the sideline wincing and struggling for breath in the third quarter of the Rams’ wild-card game against the Seahawks, that was reason for serious concern. Donald may have suffered a rib injury on a sack of Russell Wilson, and he’s been listed as questionable to return to the game.

Donald had been his usual dominant self before the injury, with three tackles and two sacks.
