Everyone is talking about how much money is circulating through NBA Top Shot right now, and rightfully so. It’s wild!
But don’t forget about the OG trading cards. Those end up going for a pretty penny, too. Maybe not quite as pretty as this Tom Brady rookie card that sold on PWCC Marketplace.
Someone sold an autographed Tom Brady rookie card for a whopping $1.32 million (!!!!!!) on Thursday. It was a 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket card that was graded an eight with a 10 grade on the signature, according to PWCC.
It was purchased by James Park, who is apparently a huge Patriots fan.

Fam. I can’t imagine spending a million dollars on anything — let alone a card. Park explained his reasoning, though.
“I lived in Boston for 10 years and so am a huge fan of Brady. I’ve also had a love of collecting cards since I was a kid. Given Brady’s uncontested status as GOAT in football, this card is an important piece of sports history and of any collection.”
Man. More power to you, dude.
